Regular programs are organized as annual cycle of seminars and workshops in 15 disciplines of science, technology and humanities. All regular programs have Serbian as official language.

All these programs are consisting of, at least, four seminars, winter (lasting 6 days), spring (3-10 days), summer (13 days) and autumn (4 days), and Petnica Students' Science Conference as the final event of an annual cycle.
Participants of regular Petnica programs (600 of them every year) are selected according to their motivation for research work, interest in science and readiness to learn. School grades are not a discriminative factor.
All programs are realized with the help of associates: 800 professional scientists and 120 university students, alumni of Petnica programs.
